IT Business Analyst*in, Vakifbank International AG
FOR CORE BANKING SYSTEM PROJECT
VakifBank is replacing /modernizing its IT landscape and intends to enforce its IT Department. Therefore, we are looking for several experienced IT business analysts focusing primarily on either:
1) payment and card systems domain, or
2) Treasury products
As an IT Business Analyst, you will be a key player in our core banking project, focusing on loan and treasury products and processes, as well as payment services integration. Your expertise will be pivotal in bridging the gap between technology and financial operations, ensuring the successful execution of project objectives. After the successful operation, the role will ensure that the products and services are meeting the local business and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Liaise with business experts to gather and document business requirements for payment and card products.
Analyse existing systems, processes, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Create comprehensive and detailed functional specifications for IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Work closely with developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during the deployment phase.
Provide ongoing support and insights to ensure the continuous enhancement of loan and treasury services modules.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in the financial industry, preferably with exposure to card, and payment services domains.
Solid understanding of core banking systems and processes.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
Excellent communication skills in English (German and Turkish is considered as plus) and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
Professional certifications (such as CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) are desirable.
