With the support of its parent institution, the bank makes a significant contribution to the economic relations and the development of foreign trade engagements between Turkey, Austria, and Germany.

VakifBank is replacing /modernizing its IT landscape and intends to strengthen its IT Department.

Responsibilities:

As an IT Operations & Infrastructure Support (IT-S) specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining, monitoring, and ensuring the seamless operation of our organization’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT environment, supporting both our business operations and user requirements.

– Monitor and manage the VakifBank’s IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.

– Maintain and configure system security parameters to safeguard data and network integrity.

– Manage user access rights and permissions, ensuring appropriate levels of authorization.

– Create and manage virtualization environments to support efficient resource allocation.

– Monitor system and storage requirements, ensuring scalability and availability.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

– Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and best practices in IT infrastructure support.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree (or similar, e.g. HTL) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

– Proven experience in IT operations and infrastructure support roles.

– Strong knowledge of network technology, system security protocols and access control.

– Familiarity with virtualization technologies and resource allocation.

– Experience with system and storage monitoring and capacity planning.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

– Strong communication skills in English (German and Turkish are considered as plus) to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
